Came across a blogger’s recommendation and decided to try it out right after they opened! Made a last-minute reservation — so glad I did. Tucked away on a street corner in Santa Monica, Cobi’s might look modest from the outside, but step inside and you’ll find a floral paradise 🌺! The place is filled with fresh flowers — absolutely gorgeous. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it’s been a bit chilly lately, we chose to sit inside. The interior feels like a cozy bistro — relaxed and perfect for a date night 💑. ✔️ Lychee Blossom A must-order for a light start! Almost no alcohol taste — just sweet, refreshing lychee goodness. 😍 ✔️ Grilled Prawns Perfectly charred and smoky 🍤! The shrimp were fresh and firm, and the dipping sauce was incredible. ✔️ Scallops on the Half Shell Sweet, plump, and bouncy scallops topped with Thai chili sauce and a squeeze of lime — so appetizing! 🍋 ✔️ Nasi Goreng Super fragrant Indonesian fried rice topped with a crispy fried egg — an instant favorite! 🍳❤️ ✔️ Butter Chicken Rich and creamy Indian curry 🍛 — so flavorful and perfect with fluffy naan for dipping.
