Santa Monica in LA 🇺🇸 has fulfilled all my fantasies about Californi
You can always trust the sunsets in Santa Monica! Every single moment, I'm in awe, thinking "How can it be this beautiful?!" 😮 Today, I'm gonna share my one - day tour guide with you all 😎. 🚖 Transportation: Starting from near Hollywood Hills, it's recommended to set off around 9 a.m. It'll take about 30 - 45 minutes to arrive. 🚇 Subway: If driving isn't convenient, you can also take the E Line of the Los Angeles Metro. The terminal station is Santa Monica Station. From there, it's just a 10 - minute walk to your destination. The 1️⃣st stop: Third Street Promenade This is a pedestrian street in the heart of downtown Santa Monica. After parking your car, you can start exploring. There's a pedestrian area about a kilometer long filled with many famous restaurants, bookstores, cafes, and handicraft shops. Plus, there are wonderful live performances by street musicians. The vibe is absolutely amazing! I suggest having lunch here 🥪. The 2️⃣nd stop: Santa Monica Beach After lunch, head straight to the beach. This is one of the closest beaches to Los Angeles, so there are a lot of tourists. But compared to other beaches, the security here is pretty good, so you can have fun without worries 🏖️. The 3️⃣rd stop: Santa Monica Pier As sunset approaches, you definitely have to rush to Santa Monica Pier. This is the stop I was most looking forward to! Built in 1909, the pier has the iconic Route 66 end - point sign at its entrance. A simple photo here captures the essence of California 📸. Not only can you enjoy the sunset from the pier, but there are also the classic Ferris wheel and roller coaster. For 15 dollars 💵, you can ride the roller coaster twice. The colors of the sky at sunset and the lighting create a super dreamy atmosphere! 🍴 Dinner We chose a seafood restaurant on the pier called The Albright for dinner. The seafood here is fresh. The lobster roll and fish - and - chips taste great. You can enjoy the sunset while having dinner. The average price per person is around 40 dollars 💵! 🏠 Homestay Although we could have returned to Los Angeles right after dinner, we decided to spend the night by the sea. We found a lovely Airbnb near Santa Monica Beach ❤️. ✨Name: Panoramic Ocean View with Balcony & Cal King Bed ✨Rating: 4.90 ✨Price: 3000 RMB / 2 people 📍Location: Within a 10 - minute walk, you can reach all the attractions in Santa Monica. 🛁 Stay Experience The host, Mike, is super enthusiastic. He'll solve any problems we have promptly and also recommend delicious local restaurants. The main reason I love this homestay is that there's a window in the living room facing the sea directly. It's truly breathtaking and full of atmosphere 🌊. The living facilities in the room are well - equipped, and the place is spotlessly clean. 📷 Materials via the internet #California #LosAngeles #LosAngelesTravel 🏟😅
