Sao Paulo 🇧🇷 Japanese food | "Sushi Yuan" eel rice is delicious

🍣 Sushiguen: A Must - Visit Japanese Gem in São Paulo 🏠 Sushiguen 🗺️ Address: R. Manuel da Nóbrega, 76 - Loja 13 - Paraíso, São Paulo - SP, 04001-080 Located along the renowned Japanese cuisine corridor, Sushiguen is undoubtedly one of the most famous and popular Japanese restaurants in the area. It’s a household name among locals who have a penchant for authentic Japanese flavors 🍱. A Long - Awaited Culinary Journey 🍚 I made a beeline for Sushiguen with one dish in mind: unagi don (eel rice bowl). I’d been craving it for ages, but finding a place that served delicious yet affordable unagi don was no easy feat. In some Japanese restaurants, the price tag of 450rs per serving was simply outrageous! So, when I heard about Sushiguen, I knew I had to give it a try. A Symphony of Flavors 🌟 Unagi Don The moment the unagi don was served, I could tell I was in for a treat. The eel was incredibly tender, fatty, and rich in flavor. Each bite was a burst of umami goodness, with the succulent eel and its melt - in - mouth fat coating the perfectly cooked Japanese rice. It was reminiscent of the blissful experience of eating gyūtan don (beef tongue rice bowl), where the rich, savory fat hugs each grain of rice. 🤤 Six slices of beautifully grilled eel, caramelized to a perfect golden - brown, practically fell apart at the touch of a spoon, making it a breeze to mix with the rice. The side of pickled ginger and wasabi were the perfect accompaniments, cutting through the richness and adding a refreshing kick. Tamagoyaki I also ordered a plate of tamagoyaki, and it was an absolute delight! The texture was incredibly soft and delicate, almost like a fluffy cloud. The filling inside had a mysterious, complex flavor. I could detect a hint of shiso leaf, which added a unique, aromatic twist to the sweet and savory egg dish. Both dishes left me completely satisfied and craving for more. 🍳 A Charming Ambiance 🍃 The interior of Sushiguen exudes a modern and minimalist charm. The bright and spacious layout, combined with a variety of seating arrangements, creates a welcoming and comfortable dining environment. What truly adds to the authenticity of the place are the Japanese chefs bustling around, skillfully preparing each dish. Their presence makes you feel like you’ve been transported straight to a traditional sushi bar in Japan, and I’m sure their sushi is just as authentic as their unagi don and tamagoyaki. 🍣 Pricing 💰 With an average cost of 250rs per person, Sushiguen offers a premium dining experience without breaking the bank. The unagi don, in particular, is priced at 179rs, which is a steal considering the quality and portion size. It’s a small price to pay for a taste of Japan right here in São Paulo! If you’re a sushi lover, a fan of Japanese cuisine, or simply looking for a new dining adventure, Sushiguen should be at the top of your list. It’s a hidden gem that combines delicious food, a great atmosphere, and excellent value for money. Trust me, one visit, and you’ll be hooked! 🌟 #SushiLovers #JapaneseCuisine #AuthenticEats #HiddenGems #OverseasLife
