Sao Paulo 🇧🇷 Japanese ramen | Miso 🍜 flown in from the neon lights
🏠 Misoya Ramen 🗺️ R. Antônio Carlos, N.324 - Consolação, São Paulo - SP, 01309-010 😋 A must-visit ramen joint for office workers near Paulista! The restaurant specializes in miso flavors from different Japanese regions—Shinshu, Tokyo, Hokkaido, etc. The menu even uses a 🇯🇵 map to mark each miso’s origin, all allegedly air-shipped directly from Japan. For a while, Tokyo Misso was out of stock; the staff said it was due to shipping delays. 😕 😋 The taste is excellent—a real treat for bold flavor enthusiasts (I’m hooked!). The broth is rich and intense (those who prefer mild tastes might find it too heavy). My absolute favorite is the soft-boiled egg—it’s incredibly tender (unlike some Japanese spots that serve "fake" soft-boiled eggs that are basically hard-boiled). I also love the varied toppings: seaweed, bean sprouts, fish cake🍥, wood ear mushrooms… I always get them all! You can even order extra toppings, and I never skip adding extra seaweed and eggs. 😍 😃 Another perk: Portions are generous, but there’s less noodle and more topping, so it’s not too carb-loaded. They offer vegetarian options, making it friendly for plant-based eaters and pork-free diets. 😮 On my recent visit, the menu got a design refresh. When I asked staff about new dishes, they bluntly said: "No new items, just price increases." Yep, it’s pricier now. A Tokyo Misso with chashu plus service charge set me back 86 R$. 😣 #RestaurantReview #JapaneseRamen #OfficeWorkerEats #SaoPauloFood #MisoLover
