🚗 Savannah | Citywalk + A Day of Food & Tesla Travels Second stop on our Tesla road trip: Atlanta → Savannah! 🍳 Breakfast at Franklin‘s Got a croissant sandwich and a macchiato ☕🥐. You can adjust the sweetness—ask for “half sweet” if you prefer. Dog-friendly 🐶 with outdoor seating! 🌳 After breakfast, walked to Chippewa Square Sat for a while to enjoy the sun ☀️. Most squares in Savannah are beautiful—perfect for a relaxed city walk. ⛪ On the way to The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist Stopped by Pottery Barn 🏺—great for home decor lovers! The cathedral is open to visitors, and the stained glass inside is breathtaking 😍✨. 🍜 Lunch at Sushi-Thai Savannah A mix of sushi + Thai cuisine 🍣🍛. We ordered red curry, pho, and papaya salad—decent but not extraordinary. 🍪 Then headed to Byrd’s Cookie Company in City Market They have a tasting bar! Oatmeal, ginger, and almond cookies weren’t too sweet 🍪👌. You can mix a box with different flavors—only around $8! 🎄 City Market had such a festive vibe—spotted a super cute Christmas tree! 🎄❤️ 🚶‍♀️ Walked over to the Riverside trail Lots of little shops and eateries along the path 🛍️, plus public restrooms available. 🦪 Dinner at Sorry Charlie's Oyster Bar Oysters were fresh but pretty small 🦪. They steam them too—surprisingly delicious! Also tried the Blue Crab pasta 🦀🍝 and grilled shrimp tacos 🌮. The pasta had a strong crab flavor, almost like crab roe noodles—so fragrant! 🎤 After dinner, enjoyed the night view at City Market Live singer performing… so romantic! 🎶🌙 💫 A perfect slow-living day—strolling, snacking, and truly relaxing 😌🍃 🏨 Hotel: TRYP by Wyndham Savannah Downtown/Historic District Good value, clean, and within walking distance to attractions! ⚡ Tesla Charging Tips: Stopped at a supercharger in Macon and grabbed a quick meal at The Juicy Crab 🦀. Arrived in downtown Savannah with only 7% battery—so stressful! 😥 Note: Downtown only has Destination Chargers (no superchargers), and most are inside parking garages. Savannah has its own small electric vehicles—some chargers even need a converter 🔌!
