Savannah | Italian Lasagna • Corleone's Trattoria 🍝

Savannah | Italian Lasagna • Corleone's Trattoria 🍝 (Ignore the terrible lighting and blurry photos—they’re beyond saving, I’m so sorry 😭) My roommate had been craving lasagna for ages, so on Halloween, we checked out the spot with the most rave reviews for lasagna! It’s easy to find: 44 Martin Luther King Blvd, Savannah, GA—off we went! ✨✨✨✨ Dish Reviews ✨✨✨✨ ⭐️ Cannelloni The flavor is on the mild side, and the sauce tastes a bit like watered-down ketchup—not very rich. But! It’s stuffed with tons of meat chunks—every bite is packed with savory goodness, so satisfying 💥 The waiter said this was his favorite when we ordered—clearly a die-hard fan! Great if you prefer lighter flavors, but maybe too mild for those who love bold tastes~ ⭐️ Lasagna Classic, traditional Italian flavor—richer than the cannelloni, and delicious! No meat in this one, just veggies like bell peppers for a fresh crunch~ The sauce is super (rich), and there’s loads of cheese. Every layer of pasta soaks up the sauce, and the melted cheese pulls into amazing strings 🧀️ We liked this one way more! ✨✨✨✨ Little Fun Fact ✨✨✨✨ These two dishes look almost identical, and both are loaded with cheese (cheese lovers, rejoice!)~ The difference? Cannelloni is tube-shaped pasta rolled with filling, while lasagna is layered flat pasta~ The pasta texture is pretty much the same—just pick whichever shape you prefer! 😉 ✨✨✨✨ Little Anecdote & Summary ✨✨✨✨ This place is super popular with locals! When we arrived at 6 PM, the only seats left (apart from reservations) were outside. Even worse—you can’t order tiramisu at the outdoor seats! My all-time favorite dessert, totally missed out 😢 By the time we started eating, there was already a line, so if you want to try it, book ahead! Overall, the dishes are decent but not mind-blowing, and the menu isn’t huge~ So I wouldn’t recommend making a special trip, but it’s a solid spot if you’re in the area craving pasta~ #FoodHunt#Savannah#SavannahFood#SavannahEats
