They’re local friends’ hidden gems—I’ve visited Savannah three times just for them!! Especially my top 3, which no one on Xiaohongshu talks about. Time to give them the spotlight～ No chitchat, let’s dive in! Tequila’s Town (Mexican Restaurant) 🌮 As a die-hard Mexican food fan, this is my ride-or-die spot!! Molcajete and quesadilla are non-negotiable—you’ll regret skipping them. 🍳 Molcajete: Chicken and seafood simmered in rich Ranchero sauce and cheese, served in a sizzling stone pot that keeps bubbling. It comes with flour or corn tortillas—we always pick flour, and dipping them in the sauce is life-changing! 🧀 Quesadilla: Absolute perfection! For cheese lovers, tender steak and melted cheese are wrapped in a slightly crispy tortilla. One bite, and the cheese stretches, with meaty and toasty flavors—so good it’s speechless (salivating while typing, help🤤). Visited again recently, so here are two more recs: 🥑 Table side guac is a must for avocado fans! Servers make it fresh at your table with avocado, onion, tomato, and lime—creamy and refreshing, perfect with chips～ 🦐 Coctel de camaron is solid: Cold shrimp with tomato and avocado, sweet-tart flavor, great with crackers! But skip if you don’t like sweet dishes. 📍 Downtown location, perfect after shopping～ Parking is street-only, so arrive early! Graffito pizza 🍕 A JW Marriott restaurant by the river—aka “pizza champion”! Highly recommend Polo! Fresh thin-crust pizza with tender chicken and pickled onions—surprisingly, the onions cut the richness, even converting onion-haters like me. Whoever invented this combo is a genius!! 🍄 Mushroom lovers, Funghi is a must! Mushroom mixed with cheese, pure bliss.
