Savannah📍

Savannah: The Most Delicious Sandwich in This Historic Eastern U.S. City 🥪 Savannah’s iconic “ghost trees”—literally called Spanish moss-draped oaks in English—look so ethereal with that fuzzy moss hanging down 🌳! This small town is pretty tiny, so there aren’t many authentic Chinese restaurants around… but Zunzi’s sandwiches? They’re next-level amazing—total game-changers! I still remember: years ago, we sold our house, bought an RV, and planned to move to a super remote spot to get away from crowds. Before leaving this “Savannah Village” (we nicknamed it that!), we made a special trip to Zunzi’s to pack up 5 or 6 sandwiches. We stuffed them in the RV’s freezer, hoping to savor them later… but when we thawed them out, the taste was totally ruined 😭. Even so, that little story says it all—Zunzi’s holds such a special place in my heart! 📍Today, I’m back at Zunzi’s—only this time, things are different! The original tiny shop has tripled in size, and they even opened a branch in Atlanta 🎉. As soon as the food was served, that familiar dressing aroma hit me… yes! This is my beloved Zunzi’s—no doubt about it! Fun fact: I’m someone who never eats sandwiches or burgers. But Zunzi’s? I can polish off one and a half in one go without stopping 😋! This moment totally made me think of Zhao Lei’s song Southern Girl—there’s just something about Savannah’s vibe that ties right into that warm, nostalgic feel 🎶! #USA#AmericanLife#USATravel#Savannah#SavannahFood#SCAD#SCADLife
