Seattle Outdoor Go-Karting
⭕️ Overview: Fun, thrilling, and stress-relieving! ⭕️ Process: ✅️ Check-in: We were a group of 8. Everyone had to be present before we could line up at the lobby entrance. While in line, the staff gave us a registration QR code to sign up online and fill in basic information. When it was our turn, we signed and paid at the front desk. Everyone in our group chose to play two rounds. It was a little over $70 per person after tax. ✅️ Waiting: We waited for about an hour. Luckily, we had brought Uno cards, and the time flew by with the fun of playing cards. ✅️ Onboard: The staff carefully explained the driving precautions. Once you’re called by name, put on your helmet and take your seat in the kart corresponding to the number. ⭕️ Helmet: You should try on a few sizes beforehand. I, being lazy to try them on with makeup, just picked one randomly. I put it on just before driving. After the session, it took a few friends to help peel it off my head, like removing a cupping jar. ⭕️ After the race: Each person gets a score sheet that records their driving performance and ranking. ❗️ Driving Tips: No matter what happens, stay calm, calm, calm! Never let go of the steering wheel; hold on tight and control your direction. If you start to skid, don’t overreact; quickly adjust your direction and keep going. If you get stuck in the grass, try to accelerate out yourself. If you’re driving too smoothly and get overconfident, avoid the urge to constantly overtake other karts. There was a moment when my desire to win took over, and I took a risk, causing my kart to suddenly spin out in the middle of the track. In an instant, seven or eight karts whizzed past me. One didn’t even have time to brake and slammed into me hard. Thankfully, at least my neck wasn’t injured. So, safety first, ranking second. #Seattle #GoKart #OutdoorActivities #Racing
