Second Visit to Classic French Spot Parc in Philly đŸ„–

My first time here, I tried their famous onion soup and totally regretted it—even with baguette, it was way too salty 😅. This time, I skipped the known pitfalls and ordered less-hyped dishes—and they were surprisingly good! đŸ„Ł Gazpacho A chilled Spanish soup blended from tomatoes, cucumber, and bell peppers. Refreshing and perfect for summer—much better than that onion soup! 🐌 Escargot Rich, garlicky baked snails—about six large ones per order. Very flavorful. 🍖 Lamb Tagine ⭐ BEST DISH OF THE NIGHT! Reminded me of Uyghur pilaf, but with couscous, raisins, and dried apricots for extra texture and sweetness. The seasoned lamb meatballs had zero gamey taste. Tagine is a traditional Moroccan preparation—who knew my favorite dish at a French restaurant would be this 😂👏. đŸČ Beef Bourguignon Classic French beef stew—solid but not exceptional. Portion was generous though. 🍹 Profiteroles Puff pastry filled with vanilla ice cream. We waited 20 minutes for this dessert—longer than any main course! 📝 Summary: ~$70 per person. Lesson learned: avoid the onion soup and trout, and you’ll have a great time at Parc! 📍 227 S 18th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 #AmericanLife #PhillyArea #FrenchCuisine #StudyAbroad #LifeInTheUS #PhillyFood
