It's a small street where shops don't start to open until after 8 am. You can take a stroll if you're passing by, but don't set your expectations too high. 2⃣️ 【Tohoku University】In the footsteps of Lu Xun Taking a morning walk at Tohoku University is quite pleasant, with a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. You can follow in the footsteps of Mr. Lu Xun. If you have time, try the student cafeteria (unfortunately, it was a holiday when I went, so I missed out). 3⃣️ 【International Center Station & Goshoguma Pond】Hand in hand with Yuzu Tohoku University is close to both these spots, and you can walk over. Along the way, you'll discover many interesting manhole covers. Check out the places Yuzu Hanyu has been. Who's responsible for wearing away Yuzu Hanyu's hand! There's also a bust of Date Masamune and the Sendai City Museum nearby. 4⃣️ 【Sendai Daikannon】Giant landmark check-in Take the bus to the base of the "Sendai Daikannon" and then walk downhill to "Nakayama 7-chome" station for your return trip. Explore the street for the best photo angles. The solemnity of the Daikannon contrasts sharply with the hustle and bustle of the city, making every frame a masterpiece! Sendai Food Guide 1⃣️ 【Sendai Beef Tongue】 No brainer, head to "Kaku" for delicious and not greasy beef tongue. For atmosphere, go to "Shimeitaro". I've posted a separate note on beef tongue before, so interested folks can check out my homepage. 2⃣️ 【Mizuhara Seimen】 The red double happiness bowl gives an inexplicable sense of familiarity. If you've had too much rich tonkotsu ramen in Japan, try their ramen for a refreshing change. 3⃣️ 【Edamame Milkshake】 I've tasted both famous edamame milkshakes. If "Zunda Chaya" is 10 on the sweetness scale, then "Kikusui-an" is 9. Be warned, it's super sweet! 4⃣️ 【Abiku Yari Store】 Avoid this one.
