Seville ๐ An unforgettable seafood feast ๐ฆ
Continuing our star-studded journey in Spain, we arrived in the town of Seville and chose Caรฑabota from the only two Michelin-starred restaurants available. Conclusion upfront: The ambiance is ordinary, but the food is surprisingly delicious!๐ We booked our table three days in advance and only a 9:45 PM slot was available. Fine, itโs a chance to fully immerse ourselves in the local lifestyle. The only issue was that the previous table was still drinking and chatting when we arrived. After waiting for a quarter of an hour with no sign of the restaurant prompting them to leave, we finally spoke up and were seated.๐ We opted for the Omakase menu, priced at 130 euros, and it was incredibly good value for money. The seafood-only menu wasnโt too heavy. In total, we had: 5 appetizers + 9 courses + 1 palate cleanser dessert + 2 main desserts, worth every penny!๐ The five appetizers: A progression from sour - fresh - salty - rich to whet the appetite! Duck liver mousse ice cream salad: A delicious start, refreshing yet creamy mousse with vegetable leaves.๐ White shrimp caviar: Sweet and salty, a classic combination. Green apple squid: The soft and glutinous squid is to die for. Tomato blue lobster: Tomato salad dressing with shrimp head sauce, fresh with a hint of refreshment.๐ Clam: Fresh! Cod: Balanced with pickle to counter the richness of the cod. Poached oyster: Tender. Red prawn: This was incredibly delicious, separated into body and head. The head had so much soup that it was refreshing to the point of making your eyebrows drop. I could have kept savoring it forever, just too good, a highlight ๐ฆ Sea bass: Paired with tomato, garlic, and olive oil, it was so comforting. Final dessert: Oyster cream foam + ๐ ice cream + choco trio, quite standard but refreshing. If youโre passing through Seville, I highly recommend giving it a try for a delightful surprise. #Spain #Seville #FoodExploration #Travel #MichelinRestaurant #FoodDiary
