SF French Bistro: Le Parc

I left work an hour early just to walk into the "Big Four," only to find out at the door that they’re closed on Fridays! I distinctly remember seeing that they were open on Fridays before! But since I was already there, I looked up nearby places in my saved list and found this little bistro. ❤️❤️ **Drinks**: I ordered a special melon cocktail, which was beautifully presented and delicious, though the portion was a bit small. Highly recommended! The red and white wines here are much cheaper than at other restaurants, but the cocktails are generally pricier. I guess they have a fantastic mixologist. I’ll definitely come back to try more flavors next time. ❤️ **Appetizers**: I haven’t had much traditional French cuisine before. The escargot had a bit of an earthy flavor, which was a bit too strong for me. To be honest, I don’t really remember the onions, but the white cheese on top—I’m pretty sure it was goat cheese—I personally don’t like this type of cheese and had to force myself not to feel nauseous. If you’re not a fan either, I’d suggest ordering mussels; other tables seemed to enjoy that dish. ❤️❤️❤️ **Main Courses**: We ordered the fish and the beef bourguignon. Both dishes were incredibly rich and flavorful—highly recommended! Even though my friends have Chinese palates, I’d definitely bring them here. It’s the kind of French food that even "pure Chinese stomachs" will love. Plus, the portions are surprisingly large for French cuisine! 🥩 ❤️❤️❤️ **Desserts**: My friend ordered coffee ice cream, and I had the strawberry pistachio one. Both were amazing! As someone who usually doesn’t like strawberries, I was really impressed by this dessert. You have to try it! The portions are also quite generous; one serving is enough for two ladies. I actually ate here a while ago but hesitated to share it. Even though I’m not an influential food blogger, if this place gets popular, it might be hard to walk in. It’s such a hidden gem—affordable and no need to wait in line! Recently, a friend asked for a birthday restaurant recommendation. She wanted a place with a great atmosphere and delicious food, and it had to be suitable for her dad, who has a Chinese palate. I immediately recommended this place! The chef here used to be from the two-Michelin-starred Baumé, so it’s like having an affordable Michelin experience. 🌟 #California #CaliforniaLiving #SanFrancisco #BayArea #BayAreaCuisine #FrenchCuisine #SanFranciscoLife #SanFranciscoFrench #Michelin #BayAreaDining #DateNightRestaurant
