🥣 Silky Kitchen

🌸A chain specializing in rice noodles, offering a choice of soup noodles, mixed noodles, or rice. Other side dishes like dumplings and cold dishes are available but not necessary—I’ve tried them all. 🏙️ The rice noodles are absolutely delicious and authentic. I prefer marinated eggs over fried eggs because the marinated eggs are so fragrant and perfectly soft-boiled. 🍃 I’ve tried almost every variety, and here are my recommendations, in order: Stir-fried Yellow Beef, Pig Liver with Pork, Country-style Stir-fried Pork, Spicy Squid (best with rice), Sour and Spicy Chicken Gizzard, Spicy Chicken Cubes, and Cuttlefish with Pork Ribs (the portion is small, but the flavor is unbeatable). 🌊 If you can handle a lot of spice, go for the extra spicy or Hunan spicy options—they’re aromatic and flavorful. 🎢If you can’t handle much spice, even the mild option is very fragrant. The Hunan spiciness at Silky Kitchen in New York can truly compete with that in Changsha. 🌟 ✨ If you ask me about stir-fries, my favorite is at Chef Tan in New Port, New Jersey. It’s really delicious—much better than the one in the East Village or places like Ye Lai Xiang, Xiang Shui Shan Zhuang, and China Xiang. 🍳 #NewYork #NYCLife #NYCExploration 🗽🌟
