๐ฟ๐ Singapore Self-Test Edition Strategy (Part One) ๐ธ๐บ
Day 1: After arriving at Changi by plane, we checked into the Strand hotel directly. ๐ธ๐บ The front desk staff are Singaporean Chinese, so communication was no problem at all. ๐ฟ๐The deposit I had researched earlier was around 70 SGD, but they asked for 200 SGD when checking in. ๐ธ๐บ After a few days, I felt that many fines in Singapore seem to be 200 SGD, perhaps related to this. ๐ฟ๐As long as you don't eat durian in the hotel and don't damage anything, the deposit can be refunded, and they provide a receipt. ๐ธ๐บAfter settling our luggage, we walked to Lau Pa Sat for some internet-famous barbecue. ๐ฟ๐ Walking and navigating to Lau Pa Sat, we passed by various attractions including the police station. ๐ธ๐บLau Pa Sat, surrounded by Singapore's CBD, is quite a contrast yet full of life. ๐ฟ๐Personally, I found Lau Pa Sat a bit hard to locate; if you can't find it, look for the United Overseas Bank!!! ๐ฟ๐Between two navigation apps, Google Maps indeed works better. #SingaporeTravelTips #SelfTestStrategy ๐ธ๐บ
