SLC Food|Non-Chinese Restaurant Reviews Part 2 🍜🥩
🇻🇳 Pho 33 Widely considered the best pho in Salt Lake City! The broth leans slightly sweet, the noodles are smooth, and the portions of meat are huge. We tried Pho 33 (comes with a big beef shank and two small oxtail pieces) and Pho 34 (with beef short rib)—both were delicious! Their egg roll is stuffed generously and fried until crispy, though personally I prefer the thinner, crunchier kind that’s more like Chinese spring rolls. 📍 285 E 2700 S, South Salt Lake, UT 84115 🇰🇷 Kou-Korean BBQ of Utah One of the most-recommended AYCE Korean BBQs on social media. 💰 Lunch (Mon–Fri 11am–4pm): $29.99 | Other times: $34.99 In short: standard Korean BBQ flavor—affordable, generous portions, but meat is on the fatty side. At this price, can’t complain too much! 🥢 Side dish notes: #5 Fried Chicken – decent, half order is enough for two #21 & #22 Steak – a bit salty #25 Beef Tongue – not the best cut, not very tender #31 Intestines – not great either #43 Short Rib – decently seasoned but fatty #55 Chicken Bulgogi – tastes exactly like Panda Express teriyaki chicken 😅 ⚠️ Avoid #45 Kou Beef – super fatty, splatters oil everywhere when grilled. It actually splashed and burned my face and stained my clothes! 📍 7157 S State St, Midvale, UT 84047 #SaltLakeCity #SLC #SLCFood #SaltLakeCitySki #UtahTravel #UtahEats #KoreanBBQ #Pho
