๐ฅ SLC Ski Trip โ Donโt Forget to Eat Well! Food Guide!!!
Spent two Christmases and New Years in Salt Lake City โ eaten dozens of meals here, so hereโs a little guide for fellow skiers & foodies ๐ฟ๐ฝ๏ธ ๐ One More Noodle Personally not a fan โ noodles were too hard, broth was bland, and thereโs often a wait. Some friends love their though. If thereโs a line, Iโd skip it. ๐ Eiko Cafe SLC Creative Jiangnan-style dishes โ braised pork with tofu knots, sour fish soup, stir-fried beef โ all recommended! Hard to go wrong here. ๐ Umi Japanese Shabu Shabu AYCE Japanese hot pot โ good value, Wagyu included! Their tiramisu dessert is a nice touch. ๐ Ombu Grill AYCE Korean BBQ โ perfect for post-ski protein loading! Fatty beef, tongue, with bibimbap โ all for around $20+ ๐ฅฉ๐ฅ ๐ Zhuting Ji New Sichuan spot โ modern and cozy. Try the roast duck, garlic pork belly, fish fragrant pork, flaming beef tenderloin. Book ahead โ theyโre popular! ๐ Oishi Ramen Lanzhou beef noodles so good I had two bowls! Must-order: beef brisket noodle โ ask for the thinnest noodles Kimchi ramen and appetizers also solid. Service can be slow when busy. ๐ Mamaโs Kitchen A bit controversial but flavors are decent. Peking sauce shredded pork, sour fish, fish fragrant eggplant are tasty. ๐ Chinese Taste Solid grilled fish โ other dishes are fine but not memorable. Overall, Salt Lake City food is way better than Boston and super wallet-friendly! Got more SLC restaurant recs?
