Slovakia's Hidden World Heritage Sites: How many people havebeenthere
Slovakia, Bardejov A remote and secluded place, I drove there alone for 7 hours. I guess I’ll probably never have the chance to go there again in my lifetime! However, the scenery along the way was truly beautiful, comparable to the foot of the Swiss Alps, as shown in photos 9 and 10. The Swiss can be so mean; it’s better to take a walk on Slovakia’s Route 66 instead of going to Switzerland. The value for money is unbeatable.😻😻😻 The Bardejov Town Conservation Reserve is located in the hilly region on the right bank of the Topl'a River in northeastern Slovakia. The Old Town was originally founded in the 9th century. Though small, it is remarkably intact and well-preserved, representing the urbanization process of the region. Since the Middle Ages, its buildings have not been subjected to any man-made destruction and still maintain the appearance of a medieval city. Bardejov is an example of a medieval fortified town. There are descendants of the Mongols here. You’ll see people with Asian-like faces speaking Slovak, which is quite surprising, as this place used to be a fortress against the Tatars.❤️❤️❤️ This place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and I’m half-jokingly suspicious that maybe some backdoors were used to get this title.🙂↕️ 🧐How to get there? You can take a Flixbus directly from Kraków, Poland. #WorldHeritageSite #Europe #Slovakia #MysteriousEurope #HiddenTreasures #Guess
