snack bar

Hidden in Pokhara, there’s a snack shop that’s a total hit among long-staying hippies—definitely part of the "best value for money" crew! 💰 It’s super affordable, tasty, and won’t burn a hole in your pocket. If you’re watching your budget or feeling a bit tight on travel funds, this little spot is perfect for ordering smaller portions. They balance meat and veggies, so you get all the nutrition you need without straining your wallet~ The owner is a man of few words but incredibly honest. All the flowers and plants in the shop are real, fresh and vibrant—you can tell he puts heart into taking care of them 🌿. I ordered a chicken burger for 130 🇳🇵 Nepalese Rupees, and a vegetable wrap for 120 🇳🇵 Nepalese Rupees. Every dish here is made to order. Even though the momos are pre-wrapped, their simple, unpolished shape screams "handmade"—no factory-style shortcuts here 👐. The owner knows the cooking process like the back of his hand; he whips up each dish in one smooth, skillful) flow. In about 10 minutes, the hot snacks arrive at your table, steaming and irresistible~ The chicken momos are wonderfully juicy, never dry. They’re bite-sized, easy to pop in your mouth, and pair great with the salty dipping sauce. Though, I couldn’t help but think a squeeze of lemon or a hint of sourness in the sauce would make them even more delicious 😋. The burger bun is soft and warm in your hand, stuffed with a thick, crispy fried chicken patty, fresh cucumber slices, and a tangy white sauce. For those with smaller appetites, it’s totally satisfying and filling 👍. The vegetable wrap is packed with thick shreds of cabbage, onion, and carrot, all tossed in that same tangy white sauce that wakes up your taste buds. It’s crunchy, fresh, and full of flavor 🥕🥬. I wolfed it all down, ending up with a sweat but a huge smile—my taste buds were dancing, and my heart was full of that little happiness dopamine! 🥳 This delicious meal was captured in 🇳🇵 Pokhara, and it’s definitely worth remembering~ #Pokhara
