So Good – But One Change! 🍽️
This is hands-down one of mine and my husband’s favorite restaurants in New Orleans! 💖 We’ve been coming here for years, and every visit feels special. The vibe is cozy and inviting, the staff always makes us feel welcome, and the food… well, most of the time, it’s pure perfection! 😊 They’re especially famous for their sweetbreads – and let me tell you, we order them every single time we visit. They’ve always been pan-seared to golden, buttery tenderness, with that delicate texture and rich flavor we absolutely love. 🍞🔥 But this time, we noticed something different: they’ve started frying them instead of pan-searing. They were still tasty – crispy on the outside, soft inside – but we really missed that classic pan-seared magic. We hope they bring the original style back! 🤞 But not all was lost – we also tried the scallops, and wow, they were incredible! 🍥✨ Perfectly seared, tender, and served with a light, flavorful sauce that complemented them beautifully. It’s dishes like this that keep us coming back! Even with the sweetbread switch-up, this place remains a gem in our hearts.
