So THIS Is What Madrid's Food Market Looks Like?! 😍🏙️
Meet Mercado de San Miguel 📍—Madrid’s epicenter of Spanish tapas culture 🥂🇪🇸! Super lively inside, packed with food stalls and locals chatting over bites (and sips!) . P3: Olives Galore! 🌿 Local olives in every form—marinated, skewered, plain, spicy, tangy… A staple in Spanish tabernas (family bars) as the perfect beer-pairing snack 🍺🧆. 🥪 Ciabatta Heaven! OMG, this toasted ciabatta base was CRISPY AF ! Topped with fish mince 🐟 and cheese-caviar combo —cool, creamy, and not fishy at all 👌. Perfect afternoon snack to fight off hunger . 🦞 Shellfish Obsession! Spaniards LOVE their shellfish ! You’ll find two plates per person at buffet-style spots run by Chinese expats 👨. Fresh local fish 🐟 and smoked salmon (a bit strong for my taste ). 🍖Spanish Ham = Liquid Gold! No joke—this jamón ibérico is art on a plate ! The perfect marbling , not greasy at all. Locals slice it paper-thin ⚡, and we’ve been eating 2-3 slices + bread every morning 🇪🇸—total integration 😂! P14: Spanish "Empanadas"! These giant stuffed pockets come in chicken, beef, vermicelli, cheese… 🧀—basically a flavor explosion 🎆! 🍫Chocolate Madness! Spaniards ADORE chocolate ! Try churros (doughnut sticks) 🍩 dusted with sugar and dipped in thick hot chocolate … Even as a sweet tooth, I couldn’t handle more than a few 😅—too rich! #MadridEats #SanMiguelMarket #SpanishFoodieAdventures 🌍🍴
