Solo Female Travel in the French Riviera šŸ‘Œ Safe & Easy!

I based myself in Cannes for 8 days, taking daily trains to nearby towns—super convenient! But if I could redo it, I’d stay in Antibes (my favorite!) or Nice for better vibes. šŸ“ City Ratings & Tips šŸŽ¦ Cannes: 7/10 Skip if not for the film festival—overpriced with meh service. Stay: Pierre et Vacances Cannes Villa Francia (3km from center, sea views). €200/night during festivals, cheaper off-season. Eat: āœ… ASTOUX ET BRUN (€40): Oysters = šŸ‘, grilled fish = šŸ‘Ž āŒ Pitaya ThaĆÆ Street Food: Avoid! āš ļø Yvan's (€40): Frogs’ legs = bland, duck liver steak = šŸ”„, soufflĆ© = overpriced šŸ’” L'AFFABLE (Michelin): Booked but canceled due to city-wide blackout—someone try it for me! šŸ”ļø Antibes: 8/10 Hidden gem! Affordable, friendly, with stunning sea + mountain views. Must-do: Picasso Museum + coastal hike. Eat: āœ… La Pergola (€20): Grandpa-run spot—warmest service ever! āœ… LA PESCHERIA: €12 for 6 oysters (breakfast win!). Regret not trying sashimi! šŸ‹ Menton/Monaco: 5/10 Skip unless you love casinos/postcard pics. šŸļø Nice: 8/10 Vibrant + turquoise waters! Old Town = perfect for wandering. Eat: Brasserie Le Gambetta (€40): Packed with locals. Seafood pasta = huge (but not my taste), burnt toast on uni tartare šŸ˜…. šŸš† Transport All cities walkable from stations (except Nice—use trams). Trains: Frequent, cheap (~€10 Nice→Cannes). #SoloTravel #FrenchRiviera #TravelSafe #BudgetEurope
