Solo Travel in the US | Tucson Day 1
1. 🌵Saguaro National Park East E-Bike Tour The main purpose of coming to Tucson, frankly speaking, was to explore the tree-like cacti in different ways. The Saguaro National Park is so extensive that it spans across the east and west of Tucson. For my first destination, I chose the eastern part of the park which is relatively more developed. I reserved an E-Bike Tour on Viator at 10 o'clock in the morning. The entire tour lasted for 2.5 hours and there was a tour guide providing explanations along the way. Ten of us rode electric bicycles energetically around the park. 😊🚲🌵 There was no need to worry about going uphill as the electric power assistance enabled the bike to move forward with just a slight movement of the handlebars. However, when going downhill, sometimes the slope was rather steep and we had to manage it carefully, avoiding applying the brakes too forcefully. During the ride, there was a section of dirt road which was a bit bumpy. Occasionally, the roots of trees were buried in the soil and hindered our progress, but the majority of the roads were quite smooth and easy to ride on. It's advisable to take the morning tour to prevent getting overly exposed to the strong sunlight in the afternoon. After the tour, there would still be time left in the afternoon to visit other places. 😎☀️🗺️ 2. 🛩Pima Air and Space Museum It's an aerospace museum that houses over 400 airplanes. The majority of these airplanes are displayed outdoors while the rest are placed in six indoor exhibition hangars. Among them, three hangars are specifically dedicated to World War II exhibitions. The museum offers a 45-minute tram tour. While sitting on the tram, you can listen to the explanations and get to know the stories behind each airplane. One thing to keep in mind is that the museum closes at 5 pm and the last admission time is 3 pm. 😃✈️🎙️ This museum is truly a wonderful place for aviation enthusiasts to explore and discover the charm of various airplanes and the rich history they represent. 😊🏛️🕙 3. 🏨Loews Ventana Canyon I stayed at Loews that night. It's the hotel with the highest cost-performance ratio throughout my entire trip. The hotel provides a shuttle service to Sabino Canyon. In fact, it's not an ordinary shuttle but a dedicated SUV. Moreover, the food in the hotel's restaurant is really delicious. In the evening, I participated in the free stargazing tour organized by the hotel on the tennis court. It's recommended that you download a stargazing app on your mobile phone in advance. When combined with the provided astronomical telescope, it will offer a much better stargazing experience. 😊🌟🔭 The hotel's thoughtful arrangements really added a lot of enjoyment to my stay in Tucson. 😎🏨🌃 #SoloTravelinUSA #Tucson
