Personally, I find Busan much more down-to-earth than Seoul! If you’re not into K-pop chasing or crazy shopping sprees but still want to visit South Korea, Busan is highly recommended. That said, it might remind you a lot of Qingdao (a coastal city in China) – the vibe is quite similar! If your budget allows, it’s totally worth a trip to Busan. The city’s seascape alone makes it worthwhile, and the overall atmosphere feels so local and authentic. We booked our hotel near Haeundae Beach 🏖️, so we could see the ocean right from the hotel area – super convenient! A quick tip: make sure to bring plenty of cash 💴. Unlike bigger cities, many places here don’t accept Alipay, which can be a hassle if you’re short on cash.
