Coming from Seattle, I feel like this place is so different from the Pacific Northwest — the culture, geography, architecture, and climate are a whole new world! 🌵🌆 Downtown is clean and well-planned. I stayed at St. Anthony, a Luxury Collection Hotel, a nearly 200-year-old historic building that blends timeless elegance with modern comfort 🏛️✨. Food prices — especially at star-rated hotels — are noticeably lower than in Seattle 🍽️💰. The Riverwalk looks absolutely magical with its evening lights — it reminded me a bit of cruising along Shanghai's Huangpu River, but with even more local character and a vibrant mix of shops, restaurants, and culture 🛶🌉.
