Speaking of Pho, Who Hasn't Tried Pho Da?

🌟As a Pho enthusiast, I'm always on the hunt for the best Pho around. I saw a recommendation for Pho 18 and decided to give it a try. I went there at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, but it was closed. So, I ended up at Pho Da across the street (the name itself is quite amusing, hhh). It feels like fate that these two places are right across from each other. I even took a photo of them together on the street. 🌟I had heard that the service at Pho Da could be a bit off-putting, and it lived up to the reputation. But it's mainly the owner's wife who seems very reluctant to be there. The owner and the waiter (who might also be their child) were actually quite friendly. 🌟Perhaps in pursuit of the perfect texture, the beef slices were only about medium-rare—very red. I couldn't help but ask, "Are you sure it's ready to eat?" 🌟So, the waiter, who looked Southeast Asian, muttered something in French that I couldn't understand while laughing and using his chopsticks to push the beef slices under the noodles. Well, it seems like the same method I use to heat up instant noodles with ham. After a while, the beef did start to change color. 🌟The Pho itself was spot-on, especially with the generous amount of meat. There was so much that I couldn't finish it. Compared to the tiny portion of noodles I had at Beijing's Guomao 88, it's incredible to get so much meat for €13.8 in Paris. The value for money is really high. 🌟In summary, as long as you don't mind the service attitude, this place is definitely worth a try. By the way, I'm curious why in France, all the cups are often placed upside down on the table, and the part of the cutlery that touches the mouth is also in direct contact with the table. Is this to show that the table is very clean? #pho #ParisianEats #RiceNoodles #VietnamesePho #Paris #ParisianCuisine
