Special Feature—What C Ate in Savannah! 🤩

Special Feature—What C Ate in Savannah! 🤩 Finally made it to the coastal town of Savannah over the weekend, drawn by all the hype!! We only gave the attractions a quick browse, so I won’t recommend them too much here 😛 But personally, I still think the sea on the west side is more beautiful 🥹 Let’s get to the restaurants! Here they are ranked by how much I loved them 😍 👑 Flying Monk Noodle Bar Such an amazing surprise—we ate here two days in a row during our three-day stay in Savannah 🤤 and even had our last meal here before leaving! This place dabbles in a bit of everything: there’s pad thai, pho, and roasted duck... I tried both the Duck Noodle Soup and Tao Dumpling Soup. The broths are the same, just with different fillings! I highly recommend their soups!! They’re so comforting to drink 😌 Don’t be scared off by the seemingly fatty braised pork belly appetizer! It’s actually really delicious! But make sure to eat it hot—when it cools down, it tastes like chewing plastic. 2️⃣ Leopold‘s There’s a reason this century-old ice cream parlor is famous—it’s so good you’d refuse to let go even if someone slapped you... For a $6 single scoop, they pile it high and keep scooping... Chocolate lovers like me, try the Savannah Socialite! [Thumbs up] 3️⃣ The Collins Quarter To be honest, the last two are pretty similar to me, but this one ranks third because their pork chop is really good 🥉 Besides that pork chop, I can’t think of anything else that’s particularly special. 4️⃣ Trayler Park This place was packed, so I thought it’d be amazing... The fish & chips were decent—the fish was tender and the batter crispy, but I still think it’d be better with tartar sauce to cut the greasiness. The Trayler Park pot pie... is basically chicken pot pie made into a burrito shape, but it’s really hard to cut!! As soon as you slice it, all the filling spills out. The most recommended dish here is the PB&J wings!! They’re fragrant, not greasy at all, and not cloyingly sweet! Highly recommend. That’s all we ate in Savannah [Kiss][Kiss] It was pretty crowded! For popular restaurants, I recommend making a reservation in advance! #LifeInAtlanta#savannah#USA#AmericanLife#georgia#AtlantaFood#USATravel#georgiatech#RestaurantRecommendations#AuthenticFoodWhileTraveling
