Spring brook
① First Stop: Purling Brook Falls 7:30 Depart from Brisbane. It is recommended to bring lunch and dinner. ✨ Tips: There are two parking options. On weekends and public holidays, you can use the secondary parking lot. Main parking lot: Search "33 Forestry Rd, Springbrook" on Google Maps for navigation. Secondary parking lot: The Settlement Day Use Area, navigable via "35 Carricks Rd, Springbrook". 8:50 Arrive at the parking lot and start hiking for 40 minutes. ✨ Tips: This is a loop trail. It is recommended to walk clockwise—this way, you’ll descend 450 steps first and return via a gentler slope, saving time and energy. 9:30 Reach the small pool at the base of the waterfall, where you can swim and play. ② Second Stop: Warringa Pool 11:00 Continue hiking from the waterfall to Warringa Pool. This is an out-and-back trail, with a round trip taking less than 1 hour. ✨ At Warringa Pool, you can swim and dive (safety first!). ✨ Have lunch here. 13:00 Start retracing your steps back to the waterfall, then complete the other half of the waterfall loop to return to the parking lot. ③ Third Stop: Canyon Lookout 14:30 Get back to the car and navigate to Canyon Lookout. It takes just a few minutes to reach the lookout, where you can overlook Twin Falls. ④ Fourth Stop: Twin Falls 15:00 Drive to "Twin Falls Walk Start" (search for navigation). 15:10 Start hiking to Twin Falls, with a one-way trip taking 50 minutes. ✨ This is originally part of a 4.5-hour loop called the Warrie Circuit, which could fill a whole day. However, due to time constraints, we’ll head back the same way after reaching the waterfall. 16:00 Arrive at Twin Falls. 17:00 Return to the parking lot via the same route. ⑤ Fifth Stop: Best Of All Lookout 17:10 Navigate to "Best Of All Lookout Car Parking", then walk 800 meters to the lookout for a panoramic view. ✨ Here, you can overlook the Gold Coast and the town of Murwillumbah, but this stop can be skipped if time is tight. ⑥ Sixth Stop: Natural Bridge Glow-Worms 17:30 Navigate to "Natural Bridge, Queensland 4211"—the drive takes 35 minutes. 18:00 Arrive. ✨ There’s a route map at the entrance. Be sure to study it carefully, take a photo of it with your phone, and note the approximate location of the "Glow-worm Cave". Otherwise, once you enter, you might get lost and end up back at the starting point after an hour! ✨ In fact, if you turn off your flashlight along the way, you can spot glow-worms on the dirt walls beside the path. The glow-worms along the trail are actually easier to observe. ✨ Remember not to disturb the glow-worms or other visitors with your flashlight. A red-light flashlight is recommended. 19:30 Drive to accommodation in Murwillumbah. #OutdoorsIsMyMentalSanctuary #HikingSceneryLet’sBreatheInTheMountains #ClimbMountainsSeeWaterfalls #OutdoorNature #WeekendGetaways #AustraliaTravel
