Spring water flows through Idaho Falls

Leaving Yellowstone, it was too far to drive back to Salt Lake City (over 5 hours), so we stopped for a break at Idaho Falls, which is about an hour away on the route. We stayed at Hampton Inn and it was super comfortable (it became the highest-rated hotel of our trip to the Western US—the beds were amazing, and Hampton Inn’s service is always reliable). We also had a great meal at the AppleBee's Grill next door. Before heading to Salt Lake City in the morning, we took some time to visit Idaho Falls. The spring water was flowing peacefully, and we saw a mama goose walking with her babies 🐣💚. The Mormon temple across the river looked beautiful 🏛️✨. It reminded me that there seem to be quite a few Mormon temples in Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho—their pointed spires are so easy to recognize! #idahofalls #mormontemple
