Sri Lanka Photography Spot Recommendations
π Nine Arch Bridge: Definitely, definitely take photos from the side. Currently, there are two great spots for photos, one from the upper side (for portraits) and one from the lower side (for landscapes). (The road to the Nine Arch Bridge is narrow, so be careful of slipping when it's rainy.) π Mirissa Coconut Grove: Located in Mirissa, this coconut grove is very popular on Instagram, and it's beautiful for photos and sunset viewing. π Peace Pagoda: Located at Unawatuna Beach, inside a temple, so dress appropriately. π Galle Lighthouse: Inside the Galle Fort, but it can be crowded, so you'll need to find the right angle for your photos. π Pidurangala Rock: The sunset is stunning, and you can see the panoramic view of Sigiriya Rock. It's recommended to start climbing from 4:30 PM to reach the top just in time for the sunset. With the orange or gold-red flames of the sky and the dense green forest as the backdrop, every shot will be great. π Tea Plantations: On the way from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, tea plantations will gradually increase. The largest tea factory, DAMRO, is a must-visit. #Mirissa#Mirissa Beach#Lighthouse - Galle#galle#Sri Lanka #trip diary#travel guide#Sri lanka trip#Nine Arch Bridge# Mirissa Coconut Grove
