Sri lanka travel diary:Day 2

The breakfast shop is located by the railway and the sea, so if the weather is nice, it should make for some great photos. I even got a cute photo with a crow! 🌟The coastal train: emmmmm... there were really many locals on board! It was hard to find space to take good photos; it was more about the experience. 🌟Galle Fort: We had some rare good weather on this trip! Sunny days are truly beautiful! The scenery was fantastic! (I didn't edit any of the photos in the later posts, using reality to explain my laziness) But I was actually boiling hot in this outfit! Our charter driver advised us not to easily trust the locals and to be careful not to be overcharged~ Pretending not to understand was great (and also true, I really didn't understand much). ✨Turtle Center: The little turtles were adorable~ There were also very pitiful sea turtles that had eaten too much plastic and couldn't sink in the water, just floating and looking sad, the whole turtle was super pitiful! It's actually quite worth seeing, even though I didn't understand a word of the English spoken by the people there, I had to pretend to understand... The turtle eggs were like rubber. ✨Stilt Fishermen: It was pouring, so we didn't go. The driver said it's just for tourists' money... The driver bought us coconuts to drink~ They were good for quenching thirst, but there's a reason China doesn't import these golden coconuts!!! They didn't taste good, but they were worth trying because they were cheap~ The hotel in Mirissa actually had a great view! But it was damp and noisy (the sound of the waves was a bit scary in the middle of the night...). #coastal train#Turtle Center#Stilt Fishermen#Galle Fort#Colombo#trip diary #Sri lanka #Mirissa
