Sri lanka travel guide: Day 6
Whale Watching: During the trip, I chatted with several foreign travelers about whale watching and decided to cancel the plan after their advice. Originally, I booked a stay in Mirrisa for whale watching, but it's not necessary to stay here if you're not planning to watch whales. The beach in Mirissa is not very good; the sand is black, and the sea water near the beach is also black. This place is only suitable for beginner surfers, and local guys on the beach will come up to chat and offer to teach you surfing, haha. Coconut Grove Hill It's a popular check-in spot, but it's actually quite small. It's best to come in the morning when the light is favorable; in the afternoon, it's against the light. We went for a walk before breakfast when there were fewer people, and as we were about to leave, more and more people started to arrive. Restaurant: Petti Petti It's a decent restaurant by the sea with two floors and several areas with different styles. The pool is also suitable for swimming and looks cleaner. The quality of Western cuisine is quite good, more reliable than other small, fly-infested places. There's also a Live Band that sings, and listening to the sound of the waves is quite pleasant. 🙃🙃 #Petti Petti #Mirissa Beach#Mirissa#trip diary#Sri lanka trip#Whale Watching#Coconut Grove Hill
