Sri lanka trip diary--Trincomalee
š© Nilaveli Beach, this beach is white, pristine, and soft, with a very beautiful coastline, and is the most representative beach resort area in eastern Sri Lanka. š© Pigeon Island, the island is surrounded by coral reefs, and it was named Pigeon Island because there were many rock pigeons here originally. The island is home to over a hundred species of coral and over three hundred species of tropical fish, with the occasional shark and sea turtle. āØ Due to its rich biodiversity, it became a national marine park in 2003 and is one of the two marine national parks in Sri Lanka. The water here is clear, and the corals are very beautiful, making it one of the best diving spots in Sri Lanka. š Trincomalee boasts sand as fine as that in an hourglass, vast coconut groves in quiet solitude, and emerald green, shallow seawater, without the noise of crowds or even fishermen. Compared to the bustling beaches in the southwest, this is a place where you can listen to the voice within. #Sri lanka #trip diary#Trincomalee#Nilaveli Beach#Pigeon Island Marine National Park#Sri lanka life#travel guide#Sri lanka trip
