Sri lanka trip guide
🔎Yala National Park The park opens at 6 AM, and private vehicles are not allowed entry; you must transfer to a jeep. We had our chartered car driver arrange a jeep driver in advance, and we set off from the hotel at 5 AM. Although it's called a jeep, it's actually a pickup truck modified with two additional seats and safety bars. The cost for a private jeep for four people was 18,000 rupees, and the entrance ticket to Yala was approximately 237 per person. Yala National Park is the second-largest nature reserve in Sri Lanka, famous for its rich wildlife, especially leopards, and is known as the safari experience second only to East Africa. 🌟Tissa Wewa (Lake) Located 1.5 kilometers from the town center, it is an artificial lake with several large trees in the middle that make for beautiful photos. ✨Mirissa Black Sand Beach The drive from Tissa to Mirissa takes about 2 hours, mainly on highways, with a pleasant journey. Our hotel in Mirissa was just across the street from the beach. The sand here is black, but it's quite fine. It's quite pleasant to have a drink at the beach bar, enjoy the sea breeze, and watch the sunset. In the evening, you can stroll around Mirissa town, where there are many grocery (souvenir) shops along the road, but it's recommended to just look around as the prices are significantly higher than in Galle. #Sri lanka #travel guide#Mirissa Beach#Tissa Lake#Yala National Park#Mirissa#Colombo
