State Guest House Akasaka Palace
It would be amazing if photography were allowed inside the Tokyo Akasaka Palace! ๐ข ๐บ๏ธโจ It's such a pity! Such a beautiful spot is so underrated that it never appears on any Tokyo tourist attraction rankings. Even someone like me, who has wandered around Tokyo and felt like there was nothing interesting left, only found this place by zooming in on the map and checking each spot one by one. ๐บ๏ธโจ ๐ Modeled after the styles of the Palace of Versailles and Buckingham Palace ๐ The interior is incredibly luxurious, but, no photography is allowed ๐ It's a national guesthouse where important banquets are held, and it's still in use today ๐ Visiting the Japanese-style annex requires advance reservation through the website!!! The main building doesn't require this; you can just buy tickets on the spot (main building 1500 yen, annex 2000 yen) #Tokyo ๐โจ
