Stawamus Chief: The Ultimate Vancouver Must-Do Experience! 🏔️🔥

· Weekly Mountain Challenge · I’d call this place the ultimate leg-day paradise—brutal yet addictive, wrecking your hands and legs, but oh-so-rewarding. Already planning my next trip! We left Richmond at noon and reached the Stawamus Chief base in about 1.5 hours. The hike features three peaks, but due to our late start, we only tackled the first two this time. ⛰️ Peak 1 Easier than Peak 2 but still stunningly scenic. The summit offers unobstructed views, perfect for epic photos 📷. Time to summit: ~2 hours Terrain: Endless giant stairs (ouch!) and rocky paths, with a charming mini-waterfall to distract you from the burn. Fun part: Near the top, you’ll hit a steep rock face—you can either scramble up (super fun!) or take the detour trail on the left. 🐕 Pro tip: Dog-friendly for fit pups! ⛰️ Peak 2 More challenging but even more breathtaking views and way more adventurous! Time from Peak 1: ~50 minutes Terrain: Starts easy, then ropes, ladders, and sheer rock climbs take over. Key moment: Spot the long wooden log—the right side leads to the ropes section. Climbing up is thrilling; descending?
