Still the same sour and spicy old flavor! 🥴
Follow me for more food recommendations in NYC 🫶🏻 Tai Er Sichuan Cuisine 🌶️ I’ve loved Tai Er since I was a kid, back in the malls in China. Their hibiscus tea, Tai Er sour fish with rice, and egg crispy glutinous rice cakes all bring back so many memories. Never thought the original team would bring it all to New York 😭 It’s so touching! The flavors are exactly the same as back home! I feel so happy eating here 🥹 ✨Old Jar Sour Fish Their slogan is “The pickles are better than the fish!” I totally agree. Classic is delicious! The pickles are so sour and refreshing, perfect with rice. The fish is super tender and fresh, in big chunks! The side dishes include glass noodles, bamboo shoots, and Sichuan wide noodles – so yummy and satisfying! The portions are generous. It feels like being back home in one bite, and it eases my homesickness. ✨Chongqing Spicy Chicken The spiciness is so satisfying! The chicken is crispy and perfectly flavored, amazing with rice. I’m already craving it again 😍 The portion is ridiculously large – we couldn’t finish it and had to take it home haha. ✨Dan Dan Noodles This one is so authentic! The toppings are super generous. When you mix them with the noodles, every bite is so satisfying. Carb lovers, you have to try this! 🍜 #NewYork 🌃🌟
