Strolling Through Metz - An Ancient City in Northeastern France π«π·
Meatball (Rourou) took the train from Luxembourg to Metz to meet friends π. Luxembourg's central station was more chaotic than I imagined, and the train conditions on the Luxembourg-France route left much to be desired π . The journey offered no scenery - just desolate and rundown views, making me realize that even romantic France has its forgotten corners π«οΈ. But upon arriving in Metz, the fragrance of France grew stronger π. This city can't be defined simply as a university town - spend a weekend here wandering along the river, and you'll feel time flowing gently through this ancient city β³. Metz glows with tenderness and resilience under its stained glass light πΌοΈβ¨. I even found my favorite French pastry shop near the station! Before heading back, I couldn't resist splurging on loads of chocolate treats to take away π«πΈ. With relatively few tourists and generally safe conditions (though every city has its sketchy areas), Metz is totally worth visiting! Come check out this underrated French destination π°π. #WorldTravel #OffTheBeatenPath #HiddenGems #France #TravelDiaries βοΈπ
