Stumbled Upon a Hidden Gem Restaurant in Vegas! 💎🇪🇸

Fideua Taste of Spain 📍 855 E Twain Ave #107, Las Vegas, NV 89169 On the last night of our trip back to Las Vegas, we discovered this incredible hidden gem! 🗺️✨ We got lost in Mojave and were worried we’d miss our reservation, but the owner was super kind and assured us they’d wait—what a relief! 😅 The restaurant is run by a lovely couple who spent over 20 years traveling and sharing Spanish cuisine around the world before settling in Las Vegas to open this place in late 2024. 🧑🍳👩🍳 The owner proudly asked if we found them online—we said Google—then realized they’re actually quite famous among Chinese visitors! A Chinese company even held a team-building event here recently. 🌍 Since it’s the off-season in Vegas, we were the only table that night. The owners warmly shared their stories and dishes with us—it felt like a private chef’s table experience! 🥂 What we ordered: 🥘 Starters: • Sautéed Shrimp – The sauce had garlic, parsley, smoked peppercorn, and olive oil—tasted just like the crunchy garlic chili oil from Asian markets! 🧄🌿 • Spanish Ham – Served with caper berries (we loved them so much they gave us an extra portion!). Main: We each got a personal paella—after all, that’s why we searched for a Spanish restaurant! 🥘 The owner uses bomba rice, cooked fresh in 18–20 minutes. Perfect texture—not too soft, not undercooked. We finished every grain! Dessert Platter (all homemade except the ice cream): • Basque cheesecake • Flan • Almond cake (a recipe from their childhood church gatherings 🏰) • Ice cream We ate it so fast we forgot to take a photo! 😋 They even shared a new dessert they’re developing—cherry jelly (not yet named)—and it was amazing! If you see it on the menu, definitely try it! 🍒 Our full dinner: 2 glasses of red wine 🍷 + 2 starters + 2 paellas + dessert platter We cleaned every plate—zero waste!
