Went on a trip to Mannheim with friends, and wow—this city completely stole my heart! Before visiting, my only impression of Mannheim was its famous university 🤣, but now? It’s officially my favorite city in Germany! 📍 Mannheim Water Tower & Friedrichsplatz The Friedrichsplatz, right behind the iconic Mannheim Water Tower, is the heart of the city and one of the most beautiful squares in Germany. At its center is a grand fountain surrounded by lush greenery and benches. On a sunny day, lounging on the grass, chatting with friends while watching the fountain—pure bliss! 🌞💦 It totally reminded me of those lazy afternoons in Paris’s Jardin des Tuileries last winter. The vibe? Perfectly peaceful yet lively. 🛍️ Shopping & Vibes Mannheim is a dream for ambiverts (50% introvert, 50% extrovert) like me! When I need alone time, I can wander through quiet parks, and when I’m feeling social, there are tons of spots to hang out, shop, and explore. The shopping scene here is fantastic—whether you’re into boutique stores or big brands, there’s something for everyone. 🎭 Final Thoughts Mannheim is underrated but absolutely amazing—so much charm, culture, and just the right mix of relaxation and excitement.
