Such a fantastic Uzbek restaurant has opened in North Carolina
Such a fantastic Uzbek restaurant has opened in North Carolina!🍰 📍 Karavan by 3 Olives An Uzbek restaurant located in Raleigh. It’s absolutely delicious!🍣🍣 Finally got to try the plov I’ve been craving like crazy—it’s amazing! 👀 The carrots are tender and sweet, the beef is incredibly juicy, and the rice is fragrant, mixed with some chickpeas. 🍎The overall flavor is simply divine! The vegetarian samsa is out of this world! The filling tastes like pumpkin puree, I think? The pastry crust is crispy and aromatic with perfect seasoning. 🍉 The moment you take a bite, the cumin explodes in your mouth.🌼 🌹🌹 Even though it’s vegetarian, it’s as satisfying as a meat dish! Paired with that red dipping sauce (probably tomato-based), the flavor is 🍓outstanding. The roasted lamb shank is also super juicy and tender—this braces-wearer was in heaven because the meat wasn’t the least bit tough. 🌳 Both the lean and fatty parts are roasted to perfection, and they complement each other wonderfully. 🐵It has the classic cumin flavor of grilled lamb skewers, making up for all the times I couldn’t enjoy hearty, tasty grilled lamb before.🍲 The roasted veggies on the side are great too, with a nice charred aroma that’s not greasy at all.👉👈 We also ordered desserts, but we were too stuffed to finish them. Overall, they weren’t as mind-blowing as the savory dishes. We dug into the food the second it hit the table (so the photos of the samsa and plov are from my junior schoolmate’s feed—sorry, not sorry .🍐🎼 It gives me major Xinjiang cuisine vibes, even though I’ve never actually tried Xinjiang food. After watching so many food bloggers rave about plov, I can finally say I’ve had the real deal Shoutout to meimei for taking us to this amazing spot☕☕ It was so so so good I’ll definitely be back!💕 #FoodKnowsNoBorders#UzbekCuisine#Samsa #Plov#RoastedLambShank#NorthCarolina#Raleigh#Foodie
