🌅 Sunset Beach & Granville Island: Vancouver's Perfect Day!

January 1, 2025—started at Sunset Beach, living like a local! 🚶♀️🏃♂️🐕🚴♀️🏐⛺️ The vibe was SO lively! Took the SkyTrain to YaleTown, then walked the seaside path to the beach. Ferried over to Granville Island—could’ve kept going to Stanley Park too! 🗺️🚢 Running here felt AMAZING. Didn’t stay downtown this trip, but next time—mission: jog with that ocean view! 🏃🌊 Spotted English Bay in the distance. New Year’s Day had the annual Polar Bear Swim! Missed the main event, but saw some brave swimmers 🏊♀️🥶 drying off. Granville Island’s Public Market was closed for the holiday, but restaurants and cute souvenir shops were open! 🍽️🛍️ The architecture here is SO colorful and artsy! 🏛️🎨 Loved the mix of chill bay views, fiery sunsets, and the grit of swimmers/runners.
