Super Complete Salt Lake City Food Guide 🍽️

This was my third time skiing in Salt Lake City — stayed 10 days this trip! Here’s what I ate during my stay: 🥢 Chinese Food ✅ Eiko Cafe — Braised pork with tofu knots & Jiangxi-style stir-fried noodles were amazing! ✅ SASA Kitchen — Must-try cold chicken gizzards. Noodles and beef rice noodles were solid too. ❌ Mom’s Kitchen — Just okay last time, and many people say it’s hit-or-miss. ✅ Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle — No explanation needed — perfect after skiing! 🔥 Hot Pot ✅ Happy Lamb Hotpot — AYCE with delicious grilled lamb leg + tons of sides and drinks. Spicy broth wasn’t very spicy, but great value overall. ✅ Top Pot & K BBQ — Individual hot pots, many broth options, plus Korean BBQ available. Can get pricey if you go all out — fewer sides than Happy Lamb. 🇰🇷 Korean Food 😐 Jang Soo Jang — Highly recommended by many, but didn’t live up to the hype for me. Beef short rib stew was just okay — skip the cheese. 👉 Prefer Baek Ri Hyang in Chinatown — less crowded and tastier! 🍴 Western / Fusion 💯 Bar Nohm — Best Korean izakaya + bar! Every cocktail was great, every dish impressed. Their grilled chicken skin might be the best I’ve ever had — a must! 📌 Reserve ahead + bring ID (21+ only). 🎄 Mar Muntanya — Booked for Christmas Eve inside Hyatt Regency. Nice ambiance, food was just okay. Paella requires advance order but fell short — seafood was fresh though, and sausages were tasty! 🥩 Texas Roadhouse — College favorite! Their warm buttered rolls and whole roasted onion are musts. Get there early — it gets busy! 🍗 Pretty Bird Hot Chicken — Juicy fried chicken and burgers. If you like spice, try the Hot level — seriously fiery and addictive! 🥐 Brunch & Bakery ☕ Beaumount Bakery & Café — On the way to the slopes. Can get crowded but totally worth it — beats many Bay Area brunch spots! 🍓 Délice Bakery & Café — Near Chinatown, serves brunch and has a gorgeous display of French pastries. Strawberry mille-feuille was delicious! 📌 Also recommend Gourmandise and Eva’s Bakery from past visits. 🧋 Bubble Tea SLC has Ching Shin Cha — with no crazy lines! Drank so much. Blueblue — great boba and coffee! 85°C Bakery Café — sea salt cream foam tasted just like back home. #SaltLakeCityFood #SkiSaltLakeCity 🏔️🍜❄️
