Super delicious Thai food in New York-- SriPraPhai
—————— 🔆 Restaurant Name: SriPraPhai Fried Fish Topped with Chili, Garlic, and Basil Sauce 🐟 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The fried fish is coated with a very thin layer of flour but fried to a perfect crisp. The chili sauce is tangy and appetizing without being spicy at all. I love how the fish, after being dipped in the sauce, retains a slightly crispy texture. Coconut Milk with Taro and Black Glutinous Rice 🍨 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Coconut milk + black glutinous rice + coconut flesh + taro. The coconut milk has a slight saltiness, and the black glutinous rice is soft, sticky, and chewy. I deducted one star for the taro, which has a fibrous texture that I don't prefer as much as a smooth, mashed texture. Mango Sticky Rice 🥭 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Needless to say, the mango is fresh and sweet, and the coconut flavor is rich and intense. Fried Soft Shell Crab with Egg, Curry Powder, and Scallion 🦀️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The soft shell crab is delicious even without the sauce, being crispy and full of meat. The sauce is incredibly fragrant, and the dish could stand alone. The scrambled eggs inside taste just like what I've had on the streets of Thailand. 👍🏼 Roasted Duck/Chicken in Green Curry 🥘 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I fell in love with this at first bite. The coconut milk is rich and combines with the fresh aroma of basil and a hint of fruity flavor, making it perfect for mixing with rice. The duck with skin is even more satisfying. Fried Rice 🍛 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Their fried rice is cooked with a lot of wok hei (the breath of the wok), so delicious that you can't stop eating it one bite after another. —————— 🔆 SriPraPhai 📍64-13 39th Ave, Woodside, NY 11377 #SriPraPhai#New York#Thai food #food diary
