Suwa Taisha Shrine
Suwa Taisha Shrine: Pilgrimage to the "Prince Who Excels at Running Away" 🌸🌺🌿🍃 🌸🌺🌿 I’ve come to Suwa Taisha Shrine for a pilgrimage! 🌟 I’ve long heard of the famous "Suwa Taisha" – after watching "The Prince Who Excels at Running Away," my pilgrimage journey to Suwa Taisha began. 🚶♀️✨ 🌸🌺🌿 Suwa Taisha is an ancient shrine, with origins that can be traced back to the myth of Kuniyuzuri in the Kojiki, making it one of the oldest shrines in Japan. 🏯📜 The main deity enshrined here is Takeminakata, who has historically governed rain and wind. 🌸🌺🌿 He is revered as a powerful god of strength who helped develop the Shinano region and is worshiped as the guardian of agriculture, hunting, navigation, and victory. 🌾⚓️ #SuwaTaisha 🌿🍃
