Suzdal Travel Notes 🏰✨
A little guide to Suzdal~ 🚞 Day 1: Head to Kursky Railway Station in the morning → ❗Buy tickets to Vladimir on the ground floor (discount with student ID 🎒🎫). Check train schedules in advance — choose a faster one to save time! 🏡 From the station, we took a taxi to our guesthouse (affordable if split 3-4 ways!). The guesthouse was super clean!! 🧼💖 Contact via WhatsApp — the host allows BBQ! 🍖🔥 Nearby there’s a “5️⃣-point supermarket” where you can buy ingredients & charcoal. BBQ grill + gazebo rental: 1,000 RUB (see last photo for contact 📞). 🕌 Day 2: Visited churches with a student pass (800 RUB for combo ticket 🎟️). The guesthouse was about 2 km from the churches — plan your route wisely! 1️⃣ Museum of Wooden Architecture 🪵📸 2️⃣ Suzdal Kremlin Complex 🏛️ 3️⃣ Saviour Monastery of St. Euthymius ☦️ ☕ Small café at the entrance has delicious desserts! 🧵 Handmade souvenir shop inside — bought sachets (80 RUB each) with various spices & patterns. Detailed descriptions available! 🍞 Lunch: Many small restaurants around — tried Frosya & Varenye near the Kremlin ✅ Food was decent — no disappointments! ☕🍽️ ❗🛍️ Souvenir tips: Many shops near the churches sell magnets 🧲 — designs are similar, but prices vary. Compare before buying! 🍯 Honey varieties: peanut 🥜, hazelnut, strawberry 🍓, etc. (300–500 RUB/jar). Great try if you love honey! 🚞 Returning to Moscow: Check train schedules early — don’t leave too late! ⏳🚆 #Suzdal #StudyInMoscow #RussiaSuzdal #VladimirAndSuzdal
