Swipe right to see the stunning starry sky of the desert 🌌
Los Angeles Weekend 🌹 I spent the weekend at Joshua Tree National Park ⛰️ The vast desert landscape is filled with peculiar Joshua trees and rock formations Perfect for outdoor adventures and astrophotography The drive from Ontario is about 🌄 an hour and a half It’s a bit longer if you’re coming from Los Angeles 🌠 Admission is $30 per vehicle Things to note: Download an offline map before entering the park There’s no signal whatsoever inside the park Make sure to bring enough food and water There are no supermarkets or convenience stores inside Wear long pants and comfortable shoes Most of the park involves trails that require a lot of walking, with cacti and rocks around Pack a down jacket From November to January, it gets quite cold in the park 🏞️ Worth exploring spots: Hidden Valley It’s a loop trail suitable for beginners, with amazing rock formations to admire Cholla Cactus Garden A great place to watch the sunrise or sunset, where the cacti look especially beautiful in the light Arch Trail You can see arch-shaped rocks and heart-shaped stones But it’s a bit challenging to climb Keys View Offers a panoramic view of the rock formations in the park But it’s super cold - the wind had me dreaming of Alaska 🌌 If you want to view the stars Find a place away from the crowd and free from light pollution Wait for 15 to 20 minutes for your eyes to adjust to the darkness, and you’ll see a sky full of stars Friends who are feeling it, you can make a dash during Thanksgiving and Christmas #CaliforniaTravel #ThanksgivingTravel #TravelNotForTheGram #MakeTheMostOfEveryWeekend #WinterTravelBucketList #TravelOutfits #VintageJeans #DailyLife
