📍 209 E 49th St, New York, NY 10017 💰 Price per person: $50-$100 Tán A Mexican 🇲🇽 restaurant that opened last year, Tán's decor feels like you’re in Tulum. It’s always bustling! We booked a 9:00 PM reservation but arrived early. 🏙️🌺The front desk said our table wouldn’t be ready until exactly 9:00 PM. When 9:00 PM came, they asked us to wait another 5 minutes, then 10 minutes... We waited and waited, and by 9:30 PM, we still didn’t have a table. I was getting frustrated and asked the front desk, “We booked for 9:00 PM, and it’s already half an hour past our reservation time, and we still don’t have a table.” They said they would wait another 10 minutes. I pointed out that they close at 10:00 PM, and they assured me it was their mistake and that they would stay open until we were served. We decided to stay since we were already there and waited another 10 minutes. Finally, we got a table. 🏙️🌺 The initial wait was frustrating, but the service and food made up for it.
