T-bone steak for the second meal
As a steak lover, since the Airbnb was just 20 meters away, I checked in to the popular Dall'Oste steak restaurant on Via del Cerchio in Florence yesterday noon (Figure ①). The 1-kilogram Chianina steak cost 91 euros and was cooked medium rare. It was indeed delicious, but the service was just average.😍😍😍 Today, for lunch, I chose a small restaurant called Oca next to the accommodation. The 1.2-kilogram local beef steak cost 60 euros. It was slightly leaner than Chianina but equally delicious. We ordered it medium for the kids, but it was served medium rare. After sending it back, it was cooked to medium. The three of us, 😻😻😻 two adults and a child, easily finished it. In the end, we were even gnawing on the meat from the beef bones, which was the most milky part. The liver sandwich was also delicious. We also had a porcini mushroom risotto, ❤️❤️❤️ a side of vegetable salad, a dish of mashed potato-stuffed Italian ravioli, and tiramisu. We left the restaurant so full that we had to lean against the wall, showing off our Asian big appetite! The young waiter smiled throughout the service and even proactively asked if we needed a toothpick at the end, which really touched my heart. Such a restaurant is all about serendipity and exceeded my expectations.🥩🥩🥩 #Florence #Steak #DallOste
