🏝️ About Shodoshima Shodoshima is not small at all; it's the second-largest island in the Seto Inland Sea, boasting a variety of rich landscapes such as Olive Park, Angel Road, and Kanka-kei Gorge. It welcomes many island-hopping tourists from Takamatsu. You spent a day and a half on Shodoshima, visiting Olive Park and Angel Road, and spent the remaining time strolling around Shodoshima International Hotel, delving into villages, passing by the Yokai Art Museum, visiting the world's smallest strait, and climbing the Futamigaura Observation Deck to enjoy the scenery all by yourself. It recreates anime scenes and is also the filming location for the movie version: sky, ocean, olives, herbs, clouds, and windmills make up a pure world. Like others, you borrowed a free broom to jump in front of the windmill and captured the moment with a click. 🏝️ Angel Road is a quite wonderful place. Only during low tide in the morning and evening does the land emerge from the sea, with mud and sand accumulation. Small crabs and shellfish creatures push open stones and slip away, a view limited by time. Climbing to the observation deck at the entrance offers an even more beautiful view: a clear blue sea with a pale yellow path appearing and disappearing, with strong winds and loud waves, and shell-made ema carrying people's sincere wishes, clinking and clanging. 🏠 The next day's City Walk in Tonosho is the original scenery of an island village, with the quietness of avoiding the city and the simplicity of a small island by the sea.
